Yes, but how is Joe Biden With Paranoid, Racist Maniacs as Preachers?

The LA Times, having used all of its large-caliber ammunition shooting itself and its friends, is down to the little stuff. The real teeny weeny stuff. Hilarity ensues.

Palin appears to disagree with McCain on sex education

...Palin's running mate, John McCain, and the GOP platform say children should be taught that abstinence until marriage is the only safe way to avoid pregnancy and disease. Palin's position is less clear.

In a widely quoted 2006 survey she answered during her gubernatorial campaign, Palin said she supported abstinence-until-marriage programs. But weeks later, she proclaimed herself "pro-contraception" and said condoms ought to be discussed in schools alongside abstinence.
Well, that tears it. The game is over for Sarahcuda. Teaching about condoms in class? Well, I never. I want my donation to the McCain/Palin campaign back. Next thing you know, we'll find out that she doesn't favor red, white and blue equally and in fact prefers red just a teensy bit more than either white or blue.

Heck, if that turned out to be true, I'd vote for Bob Barr.

As I type this, I'm laughing so hard I nearly have tears coming down my cheeks. This is hilarious! Talk about desperation! It looks like all the rest of their attempts to smear Sarah Palin out of the race failed and so now we're down to this.

I don't think it's worth visiting the link to see the rest of the article. The author, Seema Mehta, seems to have failed on the first rule of journalism regarding articles where teaching about condoms is discussed. She doesn't discuss whether Sarah believes the students should be shown condoms being pulled over pieces of fruit and if those pieces of fruit should come from countries which have smaller carbon footprints than allowed by the Tokyo Accord. That kind of information could really tip the scales in the election.

Meanwhile, Seema wisely leaves out any questions about Joe Biden's opinion of Reverend Wright. Too trivial, you understand.
