This discussion proves why reform and smaller government go hand in glove. With fewer goodies to give out there are fewer opportunities for corruption. Steve Forbes said it best when he ran for President in the 90s, discussing why campaign finance "reform" never works. When you have an ant problem in the kitchen, you can keep setting traps and trying to seal the doors, but sooner or later you're going to have to remove the cake from under the sink.Outstanding work, B-Daddy!

You must have missed Nancy Pelosi's denial today. Drudge reported that she refuses to take any blame/credit for the economic situation of the US.
So there's the Dem. rally cry for the elections: "We are powerless against the talking chimp in the White House. So why bother electing more of us?"
I just listened to Obama saying it's a disaster, all doom and gloom and his ad takes McCain to task for saying the economy is fundamentally sound despite this latest crisis...
So I'm thinking - Obama is saying there's NO HOPE.
Not the message his handlers were spinning is it?
