Mission Trails Park

My wife and I took a walk in Mission Trails Park this weekend while my daughter rode her bike along the trail. My daughter went farther than we did and made it all the way to the dam where she took this photo with her phone. I was so taken by the quality of the shot that I thought I'd share it with you.

It's a wonderful photo and it makes me look forward that much more to getting a Droid with its 5 megapixel camera.

That was with a phone camera? Wow.

Although, the light was really good, which would be fine for the practically-pinhole-camera lenses on most cell phones. The big question is, will the Droid have a big enough lens aperature to work in typical indoor conditions?

I've heard the prediction that the quality of cell phone cameras will eventually eliminate the pocket camera market. This image is certainly a good argument for that.

Thanks for the comments! I hadn't thought of either of those things. I was just super proud of my little girl for framing the scene so well.

A rugged, rural setting all within the boundaries of a major U.S. city. Unparalleled.

We Diegans are truly blessed.
