Driving out of Ocean Beach the other day, I saw piles of stones that had been stacked, probably by one of the local homeless, mentally ill drug addicts. It was beautiful in a very sad way. A click on the image will give you a much better view. Enjoy?

Having done a bit of rock-stacking with my daughters just a couple of weeks ago, I doubt that your average homeless drug-addict would have the persistence or steadiness of hand to do that. I suspect that it was done by the sort of high-school or college student who would also teach themselves to juggle or ride a unicycle over the summer.
Heck, it might even have been done by a professional, as part of a show.
Maybe so, but it was done in an area loaded with the poor devils.
So it is StoneUnhinged? It fits with control theory. Now someone will need to knock it down in order to "fundamentally transform" it because "you didn't build that".
looks like the town of Bedrock
It's almost like a human obsession-- my family has always called them "Shepherd's monuments" because all the old sheep herders would stack them. Go on a few generations and they can get pretty dang impressive.
