Time to Support John McCain?

Ok all you readers, it looks like our man Fred is going to finish a distant third in South Carolina after putting all his effort there. It doesn't look like this is Fred's year.

I'm thinking of switching to McCain. For me, it's all about winning the war and controlling spending. John McCain's the man for that.

I've been thinking the same thing for a while.

KT, I'm still reeling from the man's co-authoring of CFRA and the Rube Goldberg Amnesty Bill.

I'm sticking by my guns wrt "electability". He's got a lot of work to do to convince me he's got my vote. A lot.

On the bright side, I'd vote for him over Huck... for whatever that's worth.

Fred would make a helluva good veep for John McC. A couple of weeks ago at The Razor in response to Scott saying that it's too early to make predictions, I stuck my neck out and said 'Billary will win the nomination but lose the election to John McCain. OK, still a long way to go but it's trending that way.

PS. I don't think we should count Giuliani out yet and he is my second choice after Fred.

Also keep in mind that, realistically, in a McCain presidency his VP would have an excellent chance of becoming President - I seriously doubt that, given his age and the stresses of the office, McCain would survive an entire presidential term. Whether or not I vote for him will depend a lot on who he picks for VP, more so than for other candidates.
