Nice! Is it on one of the plants in your garden, or just something random? It looks kind of like sage. If that's a sage plant, I wonder if the hopper is trying to treat itself for some parasite, like the caterpillar I found on our sage a while back?
It's a sage. Not sure what the guy is doing there. I was watering, so he may have jumped into it to avoid the spray.
