Thanks Tom,
The lead of my son's Confirmation class is doing a two/three part lesson on the media, and how the distort and push consumerism. The amount of money that teen age kids to spend (in the billions) per year is incredible. And marketing is targeting this money seriously. Then you get these images of how women are "supposed to look", it gets in to the heads of teens. Who we all know have enough insecurities without having the pressure to look like they can't.
I thought it was hard growing up when we did.
