I'm working on the environment and decorations for an upcoming men's retreat wherein Papists from across San Diego will be discussing how to poison wells and eat babies. Or something like that.
Anyway, the theme of the retreat is "abide in His love." The leader is a fellow who would be most at home in a Mexican beach house. Working on the sign for the retreat an artist friend and I came up with the idea shown below, where each letter reveals part of a different picture. The first four are either Mexican beach photos or a color pattern in that style. The last is a forest, waterfall and pond image from Alabama.
Hey, I get to put a little of myself in the thing, too, you know. :-)
