Were you able to see the smoke around LA, or were you too far southeast for that?
(I see that the carbon monoxide overlay at windy.com is showing that combustion products from near LA are getting all the way down to San Diego today. Is this noticeable at ground level?)

We were too far south for the smoke. Here in San Diego, I'm not seeing any effects from the Santa Barbara fires.
