On Westerns and Health Care Reform

As I listen to the conversations on the radio and read the blogs about how we need to give full health insurance to everyone - that is, give more people more things they haven't earned, I think of the old-style Western where the proud rancher refuses help because it would make him less of a man. No wonder those kinds of movies aren't made any more. Those concepts are alien to us.
