I've been toying with repainting my 15-year-old pickup with zebra stripes, like in "Daktari"[1] Either that, or do like my brother did with his pickup and strip it down to a chassis with a seat and an engine, and some heavy plywood sheets on the back for carrying cargo.

That car is a copy of one of the BMW art cars. The original to this one was painted by Cesar Manrique. http://www.bmwdrives.com/artcars/bmw-artcars-manrique.php

Ummm. I think I prefer the E32 that I've got in its standard black, thanks all the same. Interesting car though.
I'm assuming from the pic that it's a 7 series. Do you know which one?
On a related topic, how are things going with the MG? (I think?).
Ummmm. No. It looks like something a confused, sell-out, germanophile hippy would drive.
It's a BMW allright. I think you're right, it's a 7 series.
The MGB is on the back burner while moving and marrying and the end of the school year is dealt with. After that, much B-blogging.
Well, it's an eye-catching paint job, anyway.

Tim, I loved Daktari when I was a kid!
