The Rose That Broke The Camel's Back

I'm done. I'm completely over the whole thing. Charlie Rose, for whatever reason, was the last straw for me.

If you haven't heard, Rose is the smug, sanctimonious PBS and 60 Minutes hack who now has 8 women claiming he sexually harassed them and worse. You know PBS and 60 Minutes, those are the media outlets that do hatchet jobs on social conservatives. They love to intimate that we are haters and misogynists and homophobes and worse. All the while, the crews knew what Charlie and others were doing.

And by "others," I mean the former head of similarly smug and sanctimonious NPR, Michael Oreskes.

The list goes on and on.

We're all supposed to be horrified over Alabama Republican Roy Moore preying on teen girls 40 years ago. It's all over the news. How can conservatives rally behind this creep? But wait! Roy was a Democrat back then. Any questions from PBS, 60 Minutes or NPR asking why the Democratic Party in Alabama let him do it?

Crickets.

They never stop. The lying, the bias, the flaming hypocrisy, it goes on and on and on as it always has. All those years of having known predators lecture us with stern essays that conservatives want to oppress women were exhausting. They're still doing it, as if it will have some effect outside of their bubble.

Sorry, that's over. All of those accusations are now visible for what they always were. Total rubbish. Thanks, Charlie. You finally did us a favor.

Here, Charlie Rose does a hit piece on the Alabama Democratic Party for tolerating Roy Moore preying on teenage girls.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Sometimes I crack myself up.

It looks like another example of "The crimes a person rails against are the crimes they are tempted to commit (or are committing) themselves."

This obviously isn't *always* true, but it is true often enough that I am cautious about anyone who has an axe to grind about a particular crime. Especially if they don't seem otherwise all that concerned about crimes in *general*.

To paraphrase a certain person, 'So much schadenfreude, you'll get tired of shadenfreude'.

And did you know that Hellary made a number of trips on the Lolita Express? It wasn't just Bill.
