However, I loathe what the Republicans did under Bush, essentially we are reduced to saying, "Look Obama's deficits are way worse than the Republicans deficits. His pork barrel spending is way worse as well." Not exactly the moral high ground for the Republicans. I read somewhere that the Republicans haven't done the penance (you Catholics should like that) needed before they can be restored to power. I actually agree, except that the Dems under Obama are proving so exceptionally awful that they must be opposed by all means possible.
