Doesn't it seem like a defensive choice to you? I can't think of a state or voting bloc he puts into play. All I can think is that he was a choice to stop the hemorrhaging of voters due to Barack's lack of achievements and his inexperience.
It is a bad choice. Plagiarist Biden. My impression of him over the years has never been that he was pro-defense, though he sits on the correct committees. IN a way, if you are for McCain, this is a good thing.

Even people I know who are all gung-ho for Obama have been saying things like "All that mystery and suspense-building for *Biden*?"
