OK, I'm sold. I love this guy. He may self-destruct with idiotic positions or it may turn out that he worshiped marmots in his youth while smoking banana leaves, but for now, I'm definitely supporting Herman Cain.
I just wish I could find a blog widget for the guy so I can put it on my sidebar. Guess I'll have to make my own.

Odd, my dang computer won't give me sound for that....

Oh, no! You like him, I like him-- he's doomed.
He's our last realistic chance for a conservative outsider.
I'll make you a widget! What size?
So I heard him explain his 999 idea for tax reform. Basically it sounds like he's proposing a flat tax and a VAT. So what does the Tea Party think of replacing some of the income tax with a VAT?
Rose, 150 pixels wide would be awesome!
Kelly, I don't know about the Tea Party, but I love the idea for the rational stability it brings. Government should be a service you need to pay for, not some all-consuming decision tree that leads you to behave in the "right" way. The current tax code is designed to make you do what they want you to do. Under the 999 plan, you'd do what made sense for you and pay for government at the same time.
