The California Air Resorces Board Is Made Up Of Morons
The CARB has decided to fight Global Warming Climate Change by instituting cap and trade for our state. This means we will have new regulations, new taxes, new governmental entities, blah blah blah ...

I was stunned at how high our energy costs were here in CA. We moved to the central coast this summer. I had thought that our electric bills would be modest, what with the temperate climate and all. I was so wrong. Turns out that areas that have lower demand are charged more by PG&E for each kilowatt hour. In effect, our electric bill was subsidizing the energy costs of the valleys.
