I'll be blogging from the Big Easy this week as work is sending me to N'awlins. It's time to stock up on New Orleans Saints gear, good food and great music!

If you can get into Bayona restaurant, do so. I discovered the chef, Susan Spicer, when she was running a basement joint in the Quarter.
You probably won't be able to get a reservation at this point, but Mrs. Apostate and I have gotten a walk-in on no-shows twice.

Dr. John! Sweet!
Now I know where Little Feat got the piano bridge for "Dixie Chicken" on Waiting for Columbus.
I think you hit a lull between Mardi Gras and the other upcoming spring festivals. Great timing.
