Some of us Just Have a Bigger Messiah Complex Than Others

...and in some of us, it fills every cell of our bodies until it crowds out the protoplasm. Dig this.

Good Lord, it's like the guy has descended from Heaven to preach the Truth to us. We're not worthy, Barack. Really. We're not. How about if you go up to Canada and preach instead?

I thought the Dems were against church and faith, and combining church and state? I thought one of the things they hated about Bush was his faith, one of the things they deride the red states for is their religion?

Why do I always get the feeling that they wear the faith like a cloak, and they don't condemn their own because they snicker to themselves that of course he doesn't MEAN it, he just has to play the role in order to get elected?

Am I too cynical?

No Rose, you are not too cynical. I suspect you are not cynical enough.

Here is a man who went to a church with a "pastor" that preached hated and insanity for 20 years, then expects us to believe him when he says he never heard such a message. Who then, when said "pastor" spoke up again, denied him (a cynic might ask if he did so three times, but I won't).

Now this "religious" man uses this photo to promote himself. Understand, I am not a terribly religious person, but I respect my fellows heartfelt beliefs and I am offend when anyone attempts to pervert such beliefs to their own means. As such, I find it impossible to respect this blatant pandering.

Has Obama just jumped the shark tank?

That was just plain bizarre. Who at Camp Obama thought THAT was going to be a good idea?

All the subtelty of a 2x4 upside the head.

Next thing you know, they'll be claiming campaign buttons have been transubstantiated.
