Taking The Autobahn To Beijing

China is in first place and it's not even close.

In Germany, frightened children are stopping traffic and tearing up the roads with jackhammers.

(C)limate militants have launched a sweeping campaign to disrupt the German capital. “Members of the Last Generation group have vowed to continue ‘disrupting everyday life’ in pursuit of climate action,” German state-run DW TV reported Wednesday.

A mob of climate militants from the “Last Generation” group targeted the country’s Transport Ministry, trying to damage the road outside the building using heavy-duty jackhammers. “On Wednesday morning, climate activists of the ‘Last Generation’ blocked the way to the Federal Ministry of Transport … in central Berlin and tried to tear open the road with demolition breakers,” German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel reported.

When you realize that in the chart at the top, Germany, as a member of the EU-27, contributes only a portion of their 6.6% planetary greenhouse gas emissions, it all makes sense. Since they have a large economy, let's grant them 1/3 of the EU-27's hot air.

That makes the final score China 27 Germany 2.

So that's why the kids need to tear up the roads in Deutschland. Right.

Children don't always make the best decisions. Frightened ones make worse decisions. Maybe frightening the tots with tales of planetary doom wasn't the best idea in the world.

Also, the US and Europe's emissions have been declining for years.

China's will continue increasing for years.
