OK, I finally watched that, and I don't think "Women can't date a guy who makes less than her" is a reason, it's an excuse. I know a number of women whose husbands make less than they do and it isn't an issue. I think the women in this video are actually having dating issues for other reasons (like being impossible to get along with), but they are casting around for an excuse that will somehow make their lack of success not really their fault. Personally, I think it is probably better for everyone all around if people like this don't actually get married.
Tim, my first wife left because she made more money than I did and went off with a guy who earned more. That was after we agreed that I would do the majority of the domestic work because she was closer to her promotion than I was. Once she got her promotion, she lost all respect for me. She also did not hold up her end of the bargain and take over the domestic role so I could focus on my career.
Hypergamy is real. There is no way on planet Earth I would ever coach a young man to date a career woman, much less one that made more than he did. It's simply asking for trouble.
When you think about it from a Darwinian sense, hypergamy is what you would expect from women. Yes, some can overcome their natural tendencies, but betting on that with a wedding ring is the equivalent of trying to draw to an inside straight.

I married a Boss Babe. Of course she had realistic expectations and only became a Boss Babe after we got married. ;-)

Ohioan - I genuinely laughed out loud at that one.
