There's an old saying in economics - you can tell what's going to happen, just not when. All of those serious, structural problems still exist, but somehow, they continue to defy gravity. Crazy, man. Just crazy.

Which is why I've always been optimistic that the US and the Anglosphere will bounce back, not so sure about Europe outside of a civil war to sort out their immigration problems. It's going to take a lot of work and fight even so.
