The chromebook is interesting, but you have to have internet to use really.
I played with chromium OS on my old eeePC for a while, but it was very hit or miss getting it to connect. That shouldn't be a problem with hardware designed for it.
Now, I have Peppermint Linux on it, and it acts like I think a Chromebook should.
