It's been a little chilly here in San Diego, but then there are days like today where the sun is shining and if you've got a nice coat of black fur, you can find a place to get toasty warm.
That was me and the Duchess yesterday afternoon--SeattleBlob was 50 and sunny in the middle of the Princess' nap, so we sat out back and just absorbed the sunshine.
Our dogs sit on the snow to sun themselves.
Works with kids, too! Once mom suggested we try it with our heavy coats when we asked if the calves got cold laying on the snow. Kinda nifty and fun-- your back is normal coat temperature, and your front is warm-sunny-day warm!

Sweet. Merry Christmas, KT and family.
Thanks, Rose.
Cats are heat seeking critters. Our dogs sit on the snow to sun themselves.
Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas.
