I just accidentally pressed the doorbell as I was going out to the Catican. The dogs were right there and saw me do it. Despite knowing no stranger was there and knowing I was around to ward off any dangers, the doorbell set them off on a barking spasm.
Sigh.

KT, you're fighting centuries of evolution. Dogs were bread for watching and guarding.
Dogs and doorbells are a curious thing. When ours hear a bell on the TV they run for the front door barking. We rarely use the door bell, so how they learned is a mystery to me.
