Alternate Title: The Republican Supreme Soviet must be better than the Democrat Supreme Soviet, right?
Trump won bigly. One reason he won bigly is that the Republicans 5-year-plan, managed by Elon Musk, was better than the Democrats' 5-year plan.
Axios' @JimVandeHei: "All of us have to come to grips, the legacy media is just not as important as it thinks it is ... It’s a relatively small group of people who rely on us for their information ... So if you just look empirically at the numbers, Joe Rogan is more important… pic.twitter.com/HqE4ckkFGE

Another reason is that Republicans subverted peoples' natural, racial loyalties.

Yes, the party nominated an absolute donkey of a candidate, but she was a black, woman donkey and that's all that should have mattered.
The list of explanations from the left goes on and on like this. In reality, the problem was that their models don't work. There is no organized, right-wing, social-network ecosystem. The successful podcasts and channels arose organically. Elon's biggest contribution to the right was not his management of information, but his removal of information management. Joe Rogan is huge because people choose to listen to Joe Rogan.
Similarly, the model of racial solidarity is all wrong. Along the Texas-Mexico border, Hispanic communities voted overwhelming for Trump. They didn't see the illegals as their racial brothers, they saw them as a menace.
Dittos for the trans model. People recognized the poisoning and mutilation of children for what it was, not as some act of affirmation.
The Democrats can recover from this thrashing, but to do so, they'll have to ditch their top-down management models. As I listen to their analyses of what went wrong for them, that's the angle I'm following. So far, there's very, very little push to reexamine their Soviet predilections.

It's true -- even as bad/perverse as American society is, we don't deserve Kamala Sutra.
