In NYC, a restaurant was trashed by customers because they charged $1.75 for extra sauce.
On July 3, employees at the Bel-Fries restaurant in Manhattan were bloodied by 3 women who smashed up the place & stole cash. One of them twerked on the counter during the attack. Pearl Ozoria, Chitara Plasencia & Tatiyanna Johnson were arrested. pic.twitter.com/MkA0G7AP26

I'm not sure where this one was, but here, customers go bananas and jump the counter at a McDonald's. One of the workers decides to defend the place and does so with real gusto.
Seems people are getting sick of it… pic.twitter.com/usiHcb9AG8

Also in NYC, an old, Hispanic dude working at a mini mart was attacked by a young, black guy. He managed to pull a knife and killed his attacker. The NY DA, always eager to release certain criminals, including the perp who attacked the old dude, arrested the old dude for murder and set bail at $250,000.
I've quoted Glenn Reynolds before and I'll do it again, now. The cops aren't there to protect you from the criminals. The cops are there to protect the criminals from you.
This is bad medicine.

Here in Minnesota, the Democrats are working very hard to protect criminals from law abiding citizens. Did you see the fireworks display in Minneapolis on the 4th? Delinquents attacking people with fireworks. And, of course, the woke defend them as "just having some fun" on social media.
On the other side, now that we are moved out to the small town. Life is much nicer for us. Last night, we walked down to the park by the lake. The city hosts a free concert on Thursday nights in summer.
I saw that fireworks attack. It was insane. No cops or even sirens.
Getting out of the cities is really a good idea. Fortunately for us, San Diego hasn't yet gone completely insane, so long as you stay out of the drug-addict, homeless encampments.
I can't find the article now, but I read there were 80 officers on duty on the evening of the 4th. That seems kind of low. But then the city is hundreds of officers below the minimum required by law.
There were 1300 911 calls made in Minneapolis that night.

80 officers for 1300 911 calls.
Yeah, that works.
