I don't know if it's the most important, but it's certainly the most surreal.
The Biden campaign called a lid on the day's events this morning at 9:22 AM. A lid means that Joe Biden will have no public appearances or interviews for the rest of the day. Here's his calendar of lids for September.
Meanwhile, on the days when they feel it's possible for him to shuffle around and mumble at people in public, he uses a teleprompter in his interviews. That means he is reading his responses.
Someone else is answering the questions for him.
And the journalists interviewing him play along. That's some world-class journalisming going on right there.
At this point, the Elites have revealed themselves to be so utterly corrupt that I almost want them to win just to see what they'll do next.

You kind of get used to the idea that Biden is the nominee but if you take a step back, forget all that's gone before, you think, 'Biden the nominee? You gotta be kidding me!' And yet a large proportion of the electorate are taking him seriously.
Napoleon, when asked what quality he most valued in a general, said 'Luck'. Trump has this, just look at the timing of RGB's passing.
And he has ACB waiting in the wings. If all this were in a movie it would be derided as too contrived.
I don't know if you saw this, but Professor Gad Saad is claiming that Amy Coney Barrett raped him. No, really.
"That means that on any given day, there's a 36% chance that Joe Biden, the Democrats' nominee for President of the United States, will be unable to function in public." WRONG.
It means that 36% of the days he's so bad that even they would be embarrassed to have him talk any further. And given how bad he is on the other 62%, that's quite a scary thing!
Re: Sam Gaad 'hit piece'.
I broke up laughing to the point I had to explain to Mrs. Ohioan what it was, once I was able to catch my breath.
I have been pretty annoyed ever since the point in January when it became obvious that one way or another, we would be looking at candidates who were septuagenarians that were well past their sell-by date. And now we have a situation where, as long as neither Trump or Biden drool visibly, wander aimlessly off the stage, or have an obvious stroke or heart attack during the debates, their supporters will count it as a win. Meanwhile, Mitch McConnell is 78 and Nancy Pelosi is 80, so the congressional leadership are also positively ancient and of doubtful mental capacity.
Basically, both parties have turned into gerontocracies where the old geezers are refusing to let go of power, right up until their minds turn to goo.
And this has happened largely because of the party structure. These people get their talons into the upper echelons of their party, and there is nothing to make them let go short of death. And we end up with parties being run, not for the good of the country, but for the good of the vultures who have been seeking nothing but personal power for so long that they've forgotten about doing anything else.
George Washington was right. Political parties are a danger to the nation, and we need to beat them back on a regular basis.
Tim, you have just made my case for having the smallest government possible. I don't expect our political leaders to be anything other than larger versions of the insufferable dorks who were class president in 6th grade. I just want to give them as little power as possible so I can get on with my life.
EXCELLENT!!
Tim, Gee thanks for the 'positively ancient' man!!!
I think you nailed it Tim. Gen X really needs to take over... says the last of the baby boomers.
Ligneus: Well, "positively ancient" is better than "dead", right?
I fully expect to be referred to as a decrepit old fossil by the time I am pushing 80. I'm OK with that. I will have earned it. And I have no intention of running for any sort of public office at that point.
