Keep in mind that Trump wrote a book 10+ years ago with aspirations for political office. This is not an impulse decision on his part, for the glory of his ego. It is a core part of his personality, the glorification of his ego.
With that said, I am glad he is focusing on illegal immigration and being politically incorrect. It is important for society to flex its freedom of speech and debate issues honestly...
