We love waterfalls. One of the benefits of going up to Michigan Tech while our son was up there; was making side trips to waterfalls. We probably went to a dozen of them or so. Bond Falls is our favorite. A must see.

Northeastern Alabama is full of great waterfalls, too. I think it has something to do with rivers and elevation drops, but fried chicken might play a part as well. More study is needed.

ReplyDeleteAnd Mostly Nothing is correct: the upper peninsula of Michigan is absolutely lousy with nice
waterfalls. Especially in the spring as the snow melts.
