... and I mean lots more pink. I don't know what this Virginian tree was, but it was determined to show me just how PINK pink could be. I left the image large and even amped up the colors a bit to make up for the overcast day. I think it's worth a click. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteYes, it certainly does look like the Japanese Flowering Cherry. At least, it looks pretty much identical to the example on Wikipedia:

I hadn't realized quite how different these were from the blossoms on actual fruit-producing cherry trees.
