I'm blogging from my phone this morning. Meh.
I'm back in Dixie, this time with wife kitteh. We're going to Fayetteville, Tennessee to see Confederate Railroad in concert. Last night, we had dinner at a blue collar BBQ joint in Nashville.
Wife kitteh, a Chicago Yankee Hillary Clinton NPR Democrat, couldn't get over how integrated the place was. Mixed race staff, customers and couples dining. Where was all the bigotry she'd been led to expect from the media and the movies? I just smiled and said, "Welcome to the South."
