Unworthy Of Lee

The more I think about it, the more I think Robert E. Lee, were he alive today, would have taken the white supremacists and thrown them in jail. They are utterly unworthy of him and have no more idea of who he was than the ANTIFA morons. If it was up to me, I'd force the white supremacists to remove the statue with their bare hands while someone reads from Lee's letters over a loudspeaker. I'd have the ANTIFA idiots forced to relocate it to another park while they were similarly instructed.

Lee was all about doing his duty without complaint or blame of others. If you read his writing, you'll know he was not in favor of slavery or secession, but when his nation called him, whether that was the USA or the CSA after his state seceded, he did what he felt he was supposed to do to the best of his abilities. Neither of these groups of cretinous swine can claim that.

Finally, to think that Robert E. Lee would ever, ever condone Nazis in any form is simply insane. All of this conflict is nothing but ignorant disrespect of a great man. Nauseating.

  1. You're still not willing to stand firm against the aggressions of the leftists ...

What we have here are two species of leftists battling for market-share (much as was going on in Wiemar Germany).

One group of leftists, the group that currently has the ear (and/or the balls) of the people who wield political violence, has made yet another outrageous demand upon American society -- eradicate your past ... as prelude to eradicating your present and future -- which outrage the politicians are more than happy to impose upon the rest of us.

The second group of leftists opposes this *particular* outrageous demand of the first group of leftists. But, since their motives are impure, and lest you be "associated" with them by agreeing that they are right even if for the wrong reason(s) -- by the very leftists (i.e. the first group) who already assert that you *are* a card-carrying member of the second group -- you decide to agree with the outrageous demand of the first group.

... and *that* is why America is doomed.

Dude, I've been writing daily here for more than 11 years. I think it's safe to say that a random sampling of my ravings will show a profound tilt against leftists, race-baiters and more. In this case, I'm simply a huge fan of Robert E. Lee who is sickened by both the ignorant dimwits on the left who want to tear down his statues and the alt-right subhumans who want to use him as a icon when they don't stand for anything that he did.

More than that, I'm a normal guy who wants to cook, work on old cars, go diving, drink beer and watch sports. All of that is pretty tough to do if my community gets hit with race riots like these. Screw them both.

  3. I agree, KT. Lee has virtually nothing in common with the people using his statue as an excuse for having what amounts to a street-gang rumble. I expect that he would have preferred to not have a statue at all over having it turned into a symbol of things he opposed.

And Ilion, just out of curiosity, is there anybody you *don't* regard as either leftist, or having dangerously leftist leanings? Because if there is, I don't believe you've ever mentioned them. And watching you sit there and insinuate that KT is too leftist to suit you kind of robs the term of all meaning.
