Was this created by paranoid schizophrenics? It sure looks like it.
A Federal Register overflowing with regulations, government spending at all time highs and the kids are telling us we're all screwed unless we keep going for more, more, more government control. It's counter-intellectual. Or is that anti-intellectual? Or maybe just utterly bankrupt?
Words fail me.
Parting question: Was there a Peron Youth movement? What color shirts did they wear?
I laughed through the whole thing. It would be really, really hard to parody this. I was under the impression that the left had a near-monopoly on irony and mockery. You would think they would be able to see how ridiculous this is. I recommend they watch some documentaries on North Korea.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, that's what it looked like to me, too. What's scary is how many people want a Dear Leader.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a parody in which a north Korean film maker comes to the US and makes a short.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though, there is an annoying production technique used in which the sound is shifted slightly. Each individual track is laid down and nudged ever so slightly. Real people don't sing like that. It's an effect used a lot in horror moves to set the viewers' teeth on edge.
