My parents were married for over 53 years when my dad died. Eisenhower was president. The gravy boat they got as a wedding present is still lovely and in my sister's cabinet. It still comes out for holiday dinners. All in all, I think the gravy boat was a great investment.
Because if the boat we're getting isn't a gravy boat, it might as well be the Titanic.
