I made this last night and it was delicious! It's my favorite dish at my favorite restaurant in the DC area, Southside 815. I used this recipe for the Grillades and Grits, this one for the seasoned flour and this one for the cheese grits. Note: I used cheese grits rather than normal grits as that's what they do at Southside.
The result: Pure deliciousness!
I've never had grillades and grits--must be a New Orleans thing. Here in the South Carolina Lowcountry, we have been known to prepare shrimp and grits. Mmmm, good eatin'.
