I love Plumeria. I love the shape of the tree, the rich, dark green of the leaves, the perfume of the blooms and especially the buttery-soft look and feel of the flowers.
I was wondering if Plumeria blossoms were edible. They *look* like they might be edible, like daylilies are. I'm not finding any recipes for them, though, so probably not.
Are these the flowers that they make leis out of in Hawaii?
Also awesome because you can make imitation ones that look so real, the only way I can tell is to try to spot the stamen.

Tim, yes, these are the lei flowers. As for eating them, I'm not quite sure. Haven't tried them.
