Moving to MS Outlook

I've used Qualcomm's Eudora email client since the 90s. Sadly, I just can't use it any more. Qualcomm no longer supports it and the new version, based on Mozilla, is an open source piece of junk that won't import my old email. Due to hard drive crashes, I've got email chunks all over the place and the new Eudora can't pull them all together.

I've never liked Outlook, but today I had to pay for it and downloaded Outlook 2010. It's a sad day in the Catican.

  1. I've moved entirely on to gmail, now; can't stand thunderbird, just want to check my mail not organize my life via a clunky program so Outlook isn't for me....

    I miss outlook express. >.<

  2. I probably should do that instead. Outlook is dreadful.

Why not try Open Office? It's a freeware program. We use it at work and it seems to be very reliable. As an added bonus, it is completely compatible with MS Office.

  4. I've tried Open Office and I just don't like the interface. It seems a little clunky to me. Right now I use Office 2003 which is comfortable for me. I needed to upgrade to Outlook 2010 to try to vacuum up all my email fragments into a single spot.

    Still no success.
