It is a matter of supply and demand. The point of the article linked in the post was that demand is now higher than makes sense, given the cost. Also, government subsidies have totally distorted the cost of tuition.
Tim, this has been a meme on Instapundit for a while. I'm happy with what I think we're getting from the boys' colleges. The chart was so dramatic that I wanted to share it.

ReplyDeleteThe chart is pretty crazy. The growth in college costs doesn't represent anything having to do with reality.
