Geaux Saints

Two days to the Super Bowl. I can't wait.

  1. So we've been subjected to Rap for about 20 years now. You'd think that something that's lasted this long would be good. But it's still just horrible.

Good luck to the Saints. They definitely will be up against their toughest opponent on Sunday, playing their A game.

  2. Though I may be branded as an apostate and banished from the Theocracy, I stand on conviction by declaring for the Colts... though I do fancy that Saints +5 line.

I got over the Drew Brees/Reggie Bush/San Diego angle three years ago and the whole the Saints-are-good-for-New Orleans-because-of-Katrina bit has become the lamest and laziest cottage industry cop-out in the history of American journalism.

There. I feel so much better.

  3. Mostly Nothing: I share your opinion about rap (I hesitate to call it "music.") I despise it. I also agree that the Saints will be up against their toughest opponent yet on Sunday. Peyton & Pals know what they are about. But you never know what might happen.

Dean: Where's your sense of drama, dude? Even leaving aside the whole Katrina angle, ya gotta love the Saints! They were absolutely awful, a laughingstock, a doormat for decades, and now they're going to the championship game against one of the best teams in football. It's a classic David and Goliath story. I'd love to see them win it all, but I will agree that the odds are probably against them.

  4. Mostly, I'm so disappointed in you. You're such an old fuddy-duddy. Next thing you know, you'll be saying that the music from Alvin and the Chipmunks is audio torture.

  5. So I've listened to this a few more times and I'm starting to get it. I actually like this song.

Maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks!
