Dana Milbank, The Nose On Your Face Is Calling

Poor Dana must not own a mirror, figurativley speaking, because he can't see a darn thing. Dana is a writer for the Washington Post, where he posed the following question triggered by a question from Helen Thomas:
Actually, conscience isn't the problem for Gibbs and his boss; it's spine. Thomas's question got at an Obama administration trait that is puzzling opponents and demoralizing supporters: Why isn't the president more decisive and forceful? On many of the most pressing issues -- the public option in health reform, troop levels in Afghanistan, sanctions against Iran -- the administration has hewed to hemming and hawing.
Err, Dana? When has the guy ever shown a spine? You don't rack up tons of "present" votes as a legislator when you've got a spine. His track record as an executive is similarly spineless ... err, no, that's not true, is it? His track record as an executive is non-existent because he never, you know, actually was an executive at any level at all.

So now poor Dana is wondering what happened to President Obama's forcefulness and courage. Well, that was a projection on the part of Dana Milbanks everywhere and it never really existed.

Not to worry, though. Things could be far worse. We could have elected that dimwit Sarah Palin.
