There is no Crisis!

If there was, then Speaker Pelosi would have made an effort to rally bipartisan support for the bailout package. Instead, for her, it was just another day playing politics.

Why should anyone on either side have stuck their necks out in favor of this highly unpopular bill if she thinks it's so unimportant that she can use it to launch a tirade against the opposition?

  1. It sure would be nice to remove Senator Botox from the speakers position. KT as a California voter get to work!

  2. Kelly, I agree. I think there is a crisis and I think a deal had been done. I don't what she was doing if not trying to get something more for her side.

  3. Thank God the plan did not pass. Now there is a chance for a more sensible plan to work. I haven't seen what Newt Gingrich has on offer yet, but I feel confident it will protect the taxpayer far better than anything cooked up by Bush and pushed by Pelosi.

  4. KT, I saw on your twitter update you were having a change of heart.

I've been fundamentally opposed to this particular bailout but you made some very good points in its favor so I'm keenly interested in what has given you pause.

I don't think I'd be going out on a limb to say the reason(s) may revolve around Ms. Pelosi.

Avast! We demand of ye a post!
