I dunno, isn't there a bit more to the election than people's borrowing habits? The war against the jihadists, immigration, Supreme Court appointments, the fact that one nominee is an inexperienced senator with a messiahnic complex and very poor judgement while the other is John McCain to name a few. Young men who think they know all the answers are kinda dangerous to my way of thinking.
I liked the article because it points out the cultural shift towards immediate gratification and the expectation of wealth without effort. I also agree with you that the war and the judges are very important and unaffected by this.
