The Chosun Sinbo, the mouthpiece of North Korea’s Japanese front organization Chongryon and often for the North Korean regime itself, has announced its preference for Obama over McCain...We will see a better relationship between the U.S. and the Korean Peninsula with Obama, who sternly criticizes Bush and who would meet the leader of Chosun without pre-conditions, than with the “Bush clone” and scarecrow of the neocons McCain.
* - I am not actually voting for Barack Obama.
My view on campaign finance: Barack Hussein Obama's money move lifts expediency over principle Rolling in dough, Democrat shifts course and spurns public dollars.
ReplyDeleteBarack Hussein Obama's announcement Thursday that he won't participate in the public financing system for this fall's general election was no big surprise. He has been telegraphing the move for months. But it is disappointing nevertheless, particularly for a candidate who claims to be running as a reformer and a different kind of politician.
Real reformers don't do it just when it's convenient. The best way for Barack Hussein Obama to support public financing is not to fix it later, but to participate in it now.

Prof. - Absolutely.
ReplyDeleteIt's easy to say you support something, it's much harder to do it.
Consider the moral integrity then LCDR McCain showed while in custody of the North Vietnamese, and the total lack of same that this move shows, and once again it becomes easy for me to say...
Vote McCain. You know you should.
I find it fascinating that Obama will meet with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with no pre-conditions, and with Kim Jung Il with no pre-conditions, but will not debate John McCain with no pre-conditions.
ReplyDeleterose - perhaps even better, he won't meet with Gen. Petraeus or Ambassador Crocker under any conditions!
ReplyDeleteHere's why *I* am voting for Obama!
