It's raining today, but a few days ago I caught our Maximum Leader as she sat on the fence in our front yard. It was great scene, a cat in classic profile against my neighbors' beautiful landscaping.
For more pastoral pussy cats, stop by this week's Friday Ark and Carnival of the Cats.
I envy her getting to go outside in winter. And the landscaping is super.
ReplyDeleteVery classic picture, nicely done...
ReplyDeleteNow about that diet for the maximum leader... ;)
The two cats who live on campus here at Steubie are cuter. 8^) Or at least, I think so, but maybe that's just because I get to see them present instead of in a picture. How on earth the things survive when they can't come indoors is a mystery to me, but one is often found waiting outside the cafeteria, the other is rumoured to eat the rabbits that also live on campus... Which all, I guess, proves that there is plenty of wilderness survival instinct in "domesticated" creatures after all.
ReplyDeleteKt looks beautiful in this picture. We love her profile! Hope you have safe and happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteHow extraordinarily handsome.
ReplyDeleteAnd who dares make a comment about a diet for maximum leader.
My Sam weighs 28 delicious pounds and is nice enough not to get on my lap more than 2 or 3 times daily (and not for very long - just kind of dropping in to say "howdy"). The vet wants him to drop a few pounds since he's now 6 years old and there's the specter of diabetes if we can't get some of the pudge off his all-too-solid-bum, still I love him as he is and wouldn't change anything about him.
Bet y'all feel the same about your GORGEOUS cat too.
