I'm not entirely sure what this means. I scored 12 out of 20.

I don't think it means anything. A bunch of the questions were kind of gray areas for me (for example, does mucking out a dairy barn count as working on a factory floor? Does a Farm Bureau meeting count as equivalent to a Union meeting? If you have to draw a circle more than 2 miles in diameter to include your 50 nearest neighbors, how am I supposed to know how many of them went to the Michigan State U. agriculture school? Does working in a coal washing plant or iron ore processing plant count on a lot of those questions, if I was there to do research projects instead of as a regular employee? Things like that).

Depending on which way I interpreted things, I could come out as low as 6, or as high as 13.

I went ahead and answered it for my kids and, projecting 5-10 years into their future, their scores came out lower than mine, which is kind of what Charles Murray is trying to say.
