Stories of life behind enemy lines.
Thanks!Isn't it pretty? I wish I could buy one for Kit... actually, I might do that in a few years, it's less expensive than an easy-bake and she could make tea, toast-with-cheese, melt chocolate chips on the "pan".... *hm*
That's a pretty amazing little kitchen-in-a-box, especially for the price. $33.00?!?! It is often possible to do a lot more with such apparently-limited appliances than people think: in my old apartment, all I had for an oven was a very old version of one of these. I used it to bake bread, cakes, pies, and cookies, roast meat, cook lasagna, and basically anything else one would use a regular oven for. My friends were astounded - as one of them put it, "that's not an oven, that's a device for warming hot-dogs at church picnics!"
*laughs* Crockpot cookery for the win!I did a similar trick in the Navy-- I was only allowed to have a toaster in my room. So I had a little toaster oven. Talk about teaching patience....
I think I'm going to get this for my son for Christmas.
Even comes in a groovy color, I'm in love with this!!
