... in your car, of course! Since you haven't made a menu in advance and nothing has been taken out of the freezer to thaw, the best place for your cookbooks is in your car. That way when you leave work and it dawns on you that you need to make dinner, surprising you for the 12,983rd time in a row, you can pick out a recipe and buy the ingredients on the way home.

What, no recipes on the magical Droid?
I have cooks.com on my favorites on my Droid, but those sites are really hit or miss. The cookbooks are a trusted source.
That is actually a shockingly good idea. And now that my wife has all of her music on her MP3 player, she no longer uses the console in the car for CDs, and there is room for a book in there. I should do this.
