What's Your Morning Drive Time Radio Station?

For me, it's Scott and BR on XX Sports Radio 1090. They're fun and funny and they don't lard up their broadcast with commercials and bump music. I've tried ESPN's Colin Cowherd (sp?) show, but I think he gives you no more than 12 minutes of actual entertainment per 60 minutes of broadcast time.

I have to admit that other than some jazz, I don't listen to music very much any more. Political talk shows are really turning me off these days, too.

How about you? What's your morning drive time show?

In my 20 minute drive, I bounce between Handel on 640AM, and that Corolla guy at 97.1FM.....he's genius A.D.D.....and I get his humour.....

Here in San Diego, I sometimes listen to our own 98.1 soft jazz station. I like that one, too.

Sirius. First the San Diego/Phoenix weather and traffic(maybe channel 126 - button 5 on my tuner), then Sirius 6: All 60s w/ "no commericals" (if you don't count the ads for other Sirius channels).

I'm a 'Herd guy. He's a big college football fan and covers things in a more broad topical sense. If I'm lucky, I can get him on 710 out of L.A. because 800 down here has to be the worst-run radio station in America.

If I go to work on time, it's the Wall Street Journal Report. Saves me 20 minutes of reading the paper (that I pay too much for....) once at work.

If I sleep in, it's 15 minutes of the locals reading the news.

I just don't "get" most of the national shows.

Guess I need more (amablent) to soothe my nerves.

The Herd is past drive time for me. (It starts at 9 central time.) Whenever I'm driving places in the morning, I listen to Mike & Mike, but because of the time change they're over at 7 am for you. I don't usually listen to political talk radio until Rush comes on at 11 (or noon, if I'm at school in Florida, but I don't get much time to listen to stuff when I'm here.)

I flip around. One station has no DJs and plays music, but commercial breaks are long.

I played a book on cd and liked that. I'm going to start another, but haven't gotten around to it.

Our sporrts station is too stupid to have Mike & Mike, they have local idiots, that spend more time talking about who they met for dinner or a movie, than sports.

When I get at 7, I listen to Mike & Mike over the internet, while I read email, etc.

Cowherd is horrible. I can't stand more than about 2 minutes of the web cast.
